parasites as reported by Humane Society of Missouri veterinarian.

County Sheriff's Department. Owner, who was renting 20
acres where animals were found, has been charged with animal abuse and
neglect.
Case pending while arrested owner obtains counsel.
Current Status: Judge awarded custody to Missouri State Humane
Society; horses remain at its rescue and rehab facility.
